Email messages download issue

Hi,

I choosed to download messages from exchange mailbox and keep as local copy.
Does it mean, all messages downloaded to my local PC are automatically
deleted from exchange server mailbox? Is there a method to keep those
messages in exchange server, at the same time having another copy locally?
