eMail Merge - attachments don't get sent

When using mail merge in Outlook attached files do not go
with the email message. No error messages - just replies
from recipients asking for the attachment. Does anyone
know a way to force email merge to asend attachments
without pasting the body of the attachment in the message?

Not supported. You'd need to use third party software to do that.
