Email from Access

I would like to create an Email form that allows users to email from
Access without using Outlook. Is there another way of doing this?
 
There is, but because of Outlooks's recent "upgrades" you will be
prompted first that a program other than Outlook is attempting to send
email. There is no way around it. I'm not 100% sure (I toyed with it
but abandonned it) but I think Outlook has to actually be open when
trying to send emails from Access.

I think in the end I realized that it could be used as a decent SPAM
filter, but sending email from Access was a clumsy and (mostly) useless
thing to try to do.
