Email from Access

I've just set added the feature to send emails direct from my Access db via
MS Outlook, how can I avoid getting the 5 second delay message which tells me
that another program is trying to send emails?

Mostly by not using Outlook. Use CDO or see...

There is also a utility that detects the security prompt and automatically
clicks the [Yes] button for you, but you still have the five secod pause.
