email error

Here is an error I get when I open my email and although the emails are
somewhere, they are not visible on my computer. It will allow the first 9 to
come through then this error appears:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'spop.east.cox.net', Server: 'spop.east.cox.net',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F


I have searched for remedies but have only gotten frustrated, any
suggestions?????
 
You say "it will allow the first 9 to come through."
Is it always the same 9 emails? If so, the 10th email is stuck on the
server. Go to http://webmail.cox.net and log in. Delete the 9 emails
you already downloaded, plus one more. Try Windows Mail again.
