Email editor

When I attempt to create a new message, or reply to an existing one, Outlook
shows "Starting Word as your e-mail editor" and locks up waiting. This
happened from one day to the next. I am able to open Word, and have no
trouble with using it. Any suggestions?
 
You could remove Word as your email editor by going into Tools - Option -
Mail Format.

Should also check why the email editor is not function properly. May want
to start by doing a Detect and Repair on Outlook and repair on your
Microsoft Office as well. Also make sure you system is update with all the
latest patches. Reinstalling may resolve the issue as well.
