email editor

I'm coming from Outlook on XP. Is there no way to use Wrod to edit Mail?
 
i was using Outlook, nit OE. i now notice that i have no Outlook in this
version of Office. that is very disappointuing! i won't correct this post
so one can see how badly i need an editor.
 
Vista is using 'Windows Mail" which is fundamentally the same as OE - I
assume by "Outlook" you meant OutlookExpress.
Because "Outlook" (not express) is a similarly-looking piece but built with
a very different code!!
If you meant that, Outlook is part of MS Office and should work regardless
XP or Vista, same way albeit you migh tbe using newer office2007....

You can hit "copy all" in Edit menu in Winmail and paste into Word anyway,
if you can't get it work in some more convenient way.
 
Can't you install a copy of the Outlook that was on your older PC?
Outlook 2003 and later will work fine on Vista.
