.email attachments

I have been getting some emails lately with a .email as
the attachment. Outlook Exress won't open these. Any
tips?

If possible, please respond to my email address listed
above. Thanks.

Rename them to *.eml. Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
