When I send email with Outlook from my home PC,
attachments appear in a header line just below the
subject line. So, a new message opens with three lines
at the top: To, cc and Subject. I click on the
paperclip symbol and select a file to attach, and once
the file is selected a 4th line appears,
beneath "Subject" with the file name. I like this.
When I send email with Outlook from my work PC,
attachments appear as icons in the text of the message.
In preparing a message, the same three lines appear: To,
cc and Subject. I click on the paperclip symbol and
select a file to attach and a Word or Excel icon
(assuming it is a Word or Excel document being attached)
appears in the text of the message, wherever the cursor
happens to be. I do not like this.
How can I get my work Outlook to behave like my home
Outlook, with all attachments appearing as file names in
the "attach" line below the Subject line?
