Email Attachments - ZIP Files

After creating ZIP file
Attempt to attach to message
When I highlight the item, the button in the box changes
from "Insert" to "Open"
What am I doing wrong
Any help would be appreciated
 
So this is in a new message after you click on file | insert or the
paperclip? What happens if you select the file and just choose open or
whatever isn't "cancel"?
