email attachments that are " removed" for being "unsafe"

I use outlook express. Is there a way to open attachments
that have been "removed" by OE because "it" has determined
them to be "unsafe". These attachments are from a safe
source. Is it related to the fact that these attachments
are pdf's?

Thank You,

Jamie

I don't think so but you can set the options in Outlook
Express not to delete the attachments for future e-mails.

However, you should re-post your question to the Outlook
Express newsgroup appropriate for Internet Explorer
version.

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Access, a database
application

Go to Tools|Options|Security Tab, uncheck the box that says "Do not allow attachments to
be saved or opened..."

It goes by the file extension. Apparently pdf's are one of the ones that are blocked.
Zipping the attachment before sending it will avoid this problem and (usually) makes for a
smaller attachment.
