Email attachment too big

I constantly run into problems with sending attachments that are too big to
send. I receive them easily, but cannot send or forward them. For example,
I received a slide show & tried to forward it. It was called 'enormous' &

5mb. How do I expand the attachment capability & why can I receive these &

not send them??????????
