email attachment problem

I am having trouble sending a report as an email attachment using the
following menu items i.e File \ Send To \ MailRecipient (as attachment). The
when the Select Format dialogue box I select "Snapshot Format", and OK. Then
I get this message in another pop up

"Microsoft Office Access can't send this e-mail message. Before attempting
to send an e-mail message from Microsoft Office Access, resolve the problem
identified in the previous message, or configure your computer to send and
receive e-mail messages"

And yes Outlook was open at the time I tried this, yes I normally send and
receive emails no problem, and oddly enought, I have sent this exact same
report in the past, using the same actions as in 1rst paragraph without any
problems.

I want to do this using what already exists in Access i.e. File\Send To\....
and not have to resort to a coded solution. Can anyone help out??? Terribly
frustrated!

Take a lot at the link above, there seems to be security issues on newly
released patches without having read all the site info myself but you might
find it useful.

Thank you so much for the information. I have not yet tried all that is
suggested. I will let you know of the outcome when I do. Thanx so very much
