email addresss automatically don't fill in anymore

when I go to send an email, the address doesn't fill in automatically
anymore. were my cookies all deleted? How can I check the setting?
 
Open Outlook and go to Tools\Options\Email Options\Advanced Options. At the
bottom, ensure that 'Suggest Names When Completing To;, CC, BCC, fields' is
checked off. If it is, you may have a corrupt .N2k file (which is where all
the previously sent to address info is stored).
 
The checkbox for "automatically complete email addresses" is at Outlook
Express, Tools menu, Options, Send tab.
