email addresses no longer appear when a typing the first letter i.

writing a new email when i type the first letter of the address all the
contacts with that address appear. suddenly they are all gone except for a
few. is there a way to reinstate this?
 
Depends. Provide your Outlook version.
State what happened just before "suddenly." You must have done something to
reset your autocompletion cache. Doesn't happen all by itself.
