Email addresses automatically display in To, CC

I have transferred all of my e-mail and contact info from my XP laptop to my
new Vista laptop successfully. But names or e-mail addresses aren't
automatically coming up in the TO , CC or BCC rows as I type them. What do
I need to do to enable this feature?
 
Try checking the box for "Automatically complete e-mail addresses when
composing" in
Tools | Options | Send tab
 
This is a known bug with Windows Mail.
It will start working for a particular contact *after* you send that contact
at least one email. It works for some people if you type the first three
letters of the contact's name and then press Tab.

How did you transfer all of your emails and contact info. from one computer
to the other? I can't seem to figure that out.
