Is it possible to copy email address book to a file in Word (in case of melt
down of Outlook)

You can Export the Contacts folder in Outlook into a Comma Seperate Values
(Windows) file that can then be opened by Excel. Or you can simply backup
your Personal Folder File (.pst) either way if you have a copy of your .pst
file or a .csv file then if Outlook crashes you can restore either into
Outlook once it is repaired. The .csv file would still allow you to access
your contacts while Outlook is down where as the .pst file would have to
have Outlook to open.

I hope this information is helpful.

My motherboard died. Windows XP. The hard drive still works. I put it into
a USB hard drive enclosre to get files, pictures etc. Is there a file where
I can find all my email contacts? I did not want to boot to this drive if it
was not necessary.
Are they hidden in a particular folder in widows or outlook?

Thx
