Email Accounts (Where are they saved)

I'm using O2003 with XPP. Where are email accounts saved? Are they
saved in the Profile or the PST file? I removed the profile and it
seemd the Email accounts disappeared. Is that correct? Is there some
place the email accounts are saved so I can back them up if I need to
remove a profile.

Information about email accounts is stored in the Windows registry along with other profile setting. In other words, if you remove the profile, you remove the accounts. If you want to back them up along with other Office settings, you can use the Office Save My Settings Wizard.
