just got an e machine 625 now i know you can upgrade using a soddim. now is it easy to fix in and will it naff up my warrentry? also if i can fit it how hard or easy is it? if no is there any other way to boost laptop?tks.

What's a soddim?

Do you mean memory?

If so, it's easy to fit and it probably will void your warranty.

To keep the warranty intact all upgrades would have to be carried out by an emachines aproved agent, as far as I know.

Of course once the warranty expires you can do what you like to it.

Ah, right. If you want more memory, speak to whoever you purchased the machine from and ask about the warranty.

It may or may not invalidate the warranty, I really don't know but my money would be on yes, it makes the warranty null & void.

If you can fit it yourself, with a laptop it normally involves undoing 1 or 2 screws, lifting a cover, and inserting new modules into slots, possibly having to remove the old modules first.
