Scenario....

Have one 80 gig HDD.

Currently Windows 98se on C: partition with some apps.

Currently Windows XP sp2 on E: partition with more apps.

Question(s)

If I load VPC can I clone it with Ghost or similar from C: partition then get
rid of C: partition using Partition Magic or similar?

Will the VPC operate as Windows 98se with some apps as current setup?

Does VPC have to be formatted then apps re-installed?

What happens to my current E: partition with Windows XP?

Thanks, Gord

You should be able to restore Ghost image to "new virtual partition"
When you setup new VPC operating system, you have few options for hard drive
space
- physical hard drive space (not recommended)
- virtual hard drive (looks like swap file)
You assign size and all other options, boot it up from Ghost boot disk and
restore image.
When I said "boot up" I'm talking about VPC.

As your hard drive goes, use PM 8.0 to delete C partition and resize E
partition

Always do backup first.

Just one more point. If you remove the existing C:\ drive you'll
loose the boot loader to XP on Drive E:. You'll need to take
steps to recreate it on whatever drive configuration you end up
with.
