Hello,

Start the update utility by right-clicking it and clicking Run As
Administrator.

Also, check the manufacturer's website to see if they have an update that
makes it Windows Vista comptable.

Dave,

Open "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Raxco" folder, right click
AutoUpd.exe and either run it by selecting "Run as administrator", or
configure it to require elevation every time it runs by selecting Properties
and marking appropriate checkbox on the Compatibility tab.

Also, probably it will be a good idea to contact Raxco and report this issue
to them. Maybe they already have updated version of software or a hotfix.

The above worked, but I now have a window every time I open the main program
saying "User Account Control - A program needs your permission to
continue".....

Help please!

Dave:

I would advise you not to run the boot time defragger until Raxio posts a
patch.
