Hello,

maybe you already know: if you logon with a non admin user and then try to
perform a file operation using explorer that requires elevated rights you
will get the elevated dialog but the file operation will fail even if you
provide correct credentials for an admin user.
If you logon as an admin user you will still get the elevation dialog to
confirm the elevated operation but it'll work fine if you do confirm.
MS confirmed this to be a bug in Vista 5381.

Workaround: run an elevated instance of cmd.exe or explorer.exe and then
perform the operation.

Question:
I need your feedback if this is a bad blocker or if it is acceptable for
Beta 2 testing.

What do you mean by acceptable for beta 2 testing? You said Microsoft
confirmed its a bug, so you will have to wait until it is fixed. Also, 5381,
is not officially BETA 2, it is a preview of it. Try BETA 2 when it becomes
available to see if it gets fixed.
