Electronic signature

I am completing an online job application form. I have to add my signature to
the form. How do I do that? I am using Windows XP, Microsoft Office, Small
Business Edition 2003, and Word.
 
If the application was posted online and is intended to be filled out
online, some instructions on this score should have been provided. If none
are, I'd just type it. But are you sure you weren't supposed to print out
the application (empty or filled), sign it by hand, and mail or fax it back?
