Hi,
Here's the scenario: A customer calls in a trouble ticket, the date and time of
the ticket is noted. The ticket travels it's course and is eventually closed,
the date and time are again noted.
The customer wants a monthly report that accounts for the amount of time lost
on the trouble ticket, that effected business hours only. Let's say that the
business hours are M-F 9a-5pm.
A ticket could be open several days, including over a weekend. How can I
calculate the "business clock" given that I can only work with the date & time
received and closed.
I imagine some sort of lookup would be necessary, and several If
statements...that's why I come to you.
Thanks in advance
