EI6 Action Canceled (part of the page only)

I get the error message: Action Canceled-Internet
Explorer was unable to link to the web page you
requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable.

I am unable to see the whole message (cuts off about half
way through)and it is only on part of the web page (i.e.
top of page border, bottom border or towards the right
side. It's a section, like an ad didn't load in properly.

I am running Windows XP & Verizon's DSL. Verizon did a
Ping and said that it was not caused by their connection.

I also get it in emails. Emails with ads.
