action cancelled

I have a new out of the box Dell dimesions 2400,XP
Home,and I am getting the action cancelled message(unable
to link to the web page you ...)and the Icon that goes
with it. The weird thing is that the web pages are
opening ,but at the top of the pages this Icon and
message appears also. it isn't killing me but it is
bugging the hell outta me.....Anyone?

Find > Files/Folders (may be hidden) for "HOSTS" or "hosts"
(no quotes) - *if* found re-name to: "NOHOSTS" or "nohosts"
(no quotes) - reboot your machine.
