EFS question

Hi,

I want to encrypt all data on my fileserver using EFS.
Do I need..

1. To install a Certificate Authority (CA) server??

Currently I don't have CA server - when I went to a users
HOME directory and put the check mark next to ENCRYPTED
the user no longer had access. Is there anyway to get
this to work without the trouble of CA servers??

The reason the end user had no access to the files after you encrypted them
is that your account was the one who encrypted the files, not the end user.
Encryption appears to be on a per user basis, not on a per-group basis. I
do not currently know of any way to allow multiple users to have access to
an encrypted set of files without either 3rd party doftware, or certificate
servers and group policies to aply those certificates.
