Editing Title duration time

For some unexplained (went thru every help screen) reason, I cannot edit the
duration of each title slide in my MM file. The titles only appear for less
than 3 seconds which is must too fast.

Is this is default & is it editable? If so, please tell me how. Thank you
in advance for your support. WWB

zoom into the timeline view ... the page-up and page-down keys will do it,
as will the magnifying glass icon

go close enough to see title clip... then use the left or right trim handle
to pull the clip wider....
