Editing registry

I have a problem deleting entries from the registry.
Its a key under HKLM, Software, Microsoft, Windows, Current Version, Run.
Name=Adware; type=REG_SZ; value=C:\WINDOWS\System32\Rundll32.exe
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\br_rt.dll" DllVerify

This entry causes a error during startup Ërror has occured during loading
of C:\WINDOWS\system32\br_rt.dll" DllVerify. Cannot find the specified module.

I select the key, delete and Yes (i'm sure i want to delete) and the key is
gone. But, then i select other (random) key and go back to Run and there is
the &^#$* again like nothing has happened which is exactly the case.

According to the properties i am the owner of the Run key and all subsequent
ones.

Tried using Autorun.exe with exactly the same result; delete is OK go to
other user and back and its there again.

Pls Help.

Trial and error has prevailed; problem gone.

I thought why can't i logon as administrator? Tried to startup in safe mode
and there he was: the admin account.
Deleted the entries i wanted from the registry with regedit and YES, they
stayed gone so i have solved the problem of the recurring error message at
startup.

Still, why the h... cant i delete entries as a user although i am the owner
of the key while the administrator account can???

If anyone can answer that??
