Editing in excel

I have names and phone numbers in one colunm, addresses in another one. All I
want to do is keep the names and phone numbers how do I delete the rest?

Click anywhere on address column
Choose Edit|Delete and click on 'Entire Column' option and Click 'OK'

Click the column letter at the top of the address column and press Del.
