Editing by several users at one time

I have a word doc to be edited by several folks, is there a way to set up the
document so several can edit at one time ?

Unfortunately: no.

You may distribute copies and use the facilites under Track Changes etc.
Consult Word's help menu.

I would say fortunately: no

Can you imagine the mayhem if two, five, five hundred people where
editing a document simultaniously? What if one want to save without
changes while another wants to save with. Or if one wants bold
underline, another italic 12pt, and a third bright green wing dings.

It could be madness.

Yeah, that would be fun to watch. Imagine when one of the 12 reviewers
changes something like "Automatically Update" for the Normal style, and
then all characters will start dancing! ;-)

True -- it's sometimes that w/o concurrency already!
