where would I edit the auto entries for when you are filling out a form and
it drops down with similar items? for instance, if I am entering an email
address, it will show one or all of the ones similar if it started with
something like ma.... Can't seem to find this anywhere, can anyone assist?
thanks much.

If this is a question about Outlook then you should post it in an
Outlook newsgroup. They will probably tell you that Outlook
auto-complete addresses are stored in Outlook.nks.

typical rude and abusive reply.
as if it really hurts ones typing fingers too much to repeat an answer.

Did you see any of the replies to your original post and try them out?

I see no original post. Just the one I am posting now. Where would I find
this other post? I use OE as a newsreader and sorted by my name, but all I
have is this.

Maybe you're not downloading enough headers. This newsgroup gets about 500
posts a day. Another tool to use, if you can't find a post is to search for
it using Google Groups Advanced Search. This newsgroup is
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general. Search in it for your name as author.

Thanks for the info, I didn't know that existed. I looked and searched, but
not found a post relating to this subject. Can you or someone please provide
info on what I am trying to accomplish? Would be much appreciated.

I don't understand what you mean. You mean you searched using Google Groups
Advanced search and can't find the your post?

Hi Mark

Go here to see two previous responses to your post that may help:

If they don't solve the problem or that isn't what you wanted to do,
please post back. Let us know how you get on :-)
