Editing an index.htm page

I notice that if I edit text or inset a new hyperlink (to a video that I've
imported in this case) when I just publish the index.htm page and the video
the index page doesen't change when I access the web site (I'm using
comcast.net.)
I need to republish the entire site. Am I missing something?

Can you post the URL?

In general, you should only need to publish the files that've changed.
Sometimes, however, FrontPage changes files you might not be aware of. If you
publish using an external FTP program, you would of course miss the files you
weren't aware of.

Jim,

Thanks for the quick response.

the URL is:

http://libbywinston.home.comcast.net

You'll note that 1) I'm a beginner so don't mind the layout. It's my first
page and 2) I'm using two accounts to accomplish delivering a family web site
with videos.
The other URL is http://lperrelli.home.comcast.net.

However the change I made to the index page was text and a hyperlink to a
slide show that I was able to fit on http://libbywinston.home.comcast.net. I
get 25mb of storage on each account w/ Comcast and I thinl I can create 5
accounts.

Thanks a bunch,

Lou P.

Jim,

Thanks for the quick reply.

The URL is http://libbywinston.home.comcast.net. You'll notice that I'm a
beginner so excuse the design. It's my first page.

I was adding a text and hyperlink to a slide show that I was able to import
into this site and stay under my space limit of 25mb. You'll notice that I
link to another comcast account http://lperrelli.home.comcast.net to link to
other video's. I think I get 5 accounts on Comcast.

Thanks,

Lou P

Everything works from here, even though I had to download an updated codec to run the movie.

Try clearing your browser history and cache files and then revisit the site.
