Editing Access databases in a web

I have an Access databse directory fpdb in a web on my PC. I then publish
this to a server. When I wish to update the the database can I simply open
FP, double click on the database which fires up Access, make my changes and
then close Access, or do I need to export the database each time, open and
change it, the re-import it to FP? (I am using XP, FP2003 and Access2003).

Yes you can, however I recommend that you export the database to your desktop first, as your
database can become corrupt more easily when open in Access via the FP interface.
