editable text areas in master slide

Hi

I'm creating a master slide in powerpoint 2000, I started with the 'Title
Only' option from the AutoLayout is there anyway to have another editable
constant text box at the bottom of the page aswell? I've tried putting the
footer title in but that is not editable. I just need to have; page
number/section title/question number all editable in small text.

PPT (all versions) currently is limited to the two pre-set text boxes on the
master slide...
