I'm currently using FrontPage 2003 and am trying to edit my webpage, but the icon is not highlighted in the toolbar. I have tried on numerous occasions to try and fix this problem, but in the process another icon (namely, Edit With Notepad) has appeared in the same spot and that too is not highlighted. Could someone please tell me how I can retrieve the Edit With Microsoft FrontPage icon as I can't edit my webpage without it? Thanking you in advance for your assistance.

Have you tried opening the site directly in FP via File Menu | Open Site and enter your URL and
login info?

I've tried what you suggested, but when I go to open the webpage that I want to edit, a message comes up on the screen saying: "You do not have permission to make changes to this document. Do you want to open a read-only copy?" (YES or NO). What do I have to do now? Please reply ASAP. Thank you

Then you need to contact your host for Author Permissions. The site must have the FP extensions
installed.

Try emptying your Temporary Internet Files (cache). If this is full, the
edit with... button will not work.

When you say "host", do you mean my ISP? If not, please reply
