Edit with FP2003 doesn't work

When I use IE6.0 to open a web site I developed with FP2003 and click "File",
"Edit with MS FP 2003" on the file menu, it opens the page for editing buit
it has something like this web_page[1].htm and it won't save any of the
changes I make to the web page. What am I doint incorrectly?

Are you being prompted for log in credentials??

If not, all you're doing is editing a copy in the temporary internet files.

Thank you, but that doesn't solve my problem. I can do this with other web
sites and it works. But, with some sites, it doesn't work.

Why does it prompt me for username and password for most of my sites and
then doesn't do it for a few sites when I choose to edit when I have the web
site open in IE6.0.

Are the web sites where it doesn't work hosted on a different server than
the ones where it does work?

The webs (edit with FP2003 from file menu) that do work and don't work are
all on the same server. I am running Windows 2003 SP1 standard edition IIS6.0
