Edit shortcut menu in Word 2007

Hi, I was wondering whether there is a relatively easy way to edit the
options available in the shortcut menu in Word 2007. Although I would
ideally like to add subscript and superscript to the font options that appear
when you right click on selected text, I would be satisfied if I could at
least add these font options to the list that appears below the special font
options box. I tried searching Google and this forum for insights into this
in Word 2007, but I haven't had any luck yet.

I would appreciate any insights. Thanks.

You do know, don't you, that there are keyboard shortcuts for these formats?

To answer your question... There is not a relatively easy way to edit the
shortcut menu options in Word 2007. The following discussion will provide
some useful tips if you're willing to delve into VBA to do it:

In addition to the other suggestions (Ctrl+= for subscript and Ctrl+Shift+=
for super script), you can right-click the superscript and subscript tools
in the Home ribbon tab and choose Add to Quick Access Toolbar to place them
onto the QAT for easier access. If you also place the QAT below the ribbon
rather than above it, the tools will be closer to the field of play.
