Edit "Sent/Received Messages" messages in Outlook Express?

Ladies/Gentlemen:

After installing Windows XP Home Edition to replace Windows 98, I now use
Outlook Express, whereas I had been using Outlook.

Outlook allowed me to edit "Sent/Received" messages, which I had stored in
various files.

Due to ignorance, I have been unable to discover those Outlook Express
procedures, which would enable me to record (edit) updated information in a
filed "Sent/Received" message.

Is possible to edit "Sent/Received" messages in Outlook Express?

If so, how?

Thank you.

OE wont let you edit sent messages i tried to figure out but never could and
the only way to edit received messages is to foward them to your self or
someone else that is why i hate oe

Closest thing I've ever found: Open the message, click 'Reply' edit as
desired including the 'To' line if necessary, resend or use 'Save As' or
'Save' or whatever suits your purposes.
