EDIT FORMULA BAR in excel 2003? why not? where is it?

IN EXCEL 2003 IN THE FORMULA BAR THERE IS AN INSERT FUNCTION BUTTON THAT
GIVES YOU A DIALOG BOX. IN EXCEL 2000 THERE IS A EDIT FORMULA BUTTON THAT
GIVES YOU A EDIT FORMULA BAR WHEN ACTIVATED.
I FIND THIS EDIT FORMULA BAR VERY HELPFUL WITH MY NEW STUDENTS TO EXCEL. I
HAVE THEM MOVE THE BAR JUST BELOW THE ROW THEY ARE WORKING ON AND IT KEEPS
THEM FROM GETTING CONFUSED WHEN SELECTING CELLS FOR FORMULAS. I HAVE THEM
USE THIS UNTIL THEY GET USED TO THE COLUMNS AND ROWS AND IT SEEMS TO WORK.

NOW WITH 2003 THERE IS NO EDIT FORMULA BAR, OR IS THERE ONE THAT CAN BE
ACTIVATED.

Please turn off the Caps Lock next time you post.

Very hard to read and looks like you are angry with us.

The = sign "edit formula" went away when XL2002 was introduced.

Maybe will return in next version of Excel. Many have asked for its return.

The fx is all you get for now.
