Assuming you used the shift by-pass key, and simply are at the main
development window, then you simply just right click on any menu bar up top,
and select customize.
At this point, you get a Customize dialog, and 3 tabs (Toolbars, Commands,
Options).
Of course, the first tab "toolbars" shows, and lists ALL of the menus you
make (made). If you want to display, and customize a menu that is not in
view, you simply check the box for one of those custom menu bars, and it
will now display, and you are in edit mode. You are thus you are now able
to use the mouse to customize that menu as much as you want. You should then
un-check the box to hide this menu when you are done. If you made a shortcut
menu, then of course you have to display (choose) "shortcut menus" from the
above list to get at any shortcut menu you made.
You should spend some time reading, or learning how to make menus. They are
easy to make, but you do/should do some reading, or learning. While trial
and error works for learning Word, or Excel, trail and error is NOT going to
work as a learning approach for ms-access.
If you don't have a good book that explains this process, you can find a

The above is for a97, but it well applies to later versions also.
