Edit/Create slide layout(s)

I am creating a template for the firm I work for and they are very specific
as to how things should be set out.

I would like to be able to edit the default text, content and other slide
layouts that come with Powerpoint 2002 so that the column widths values are
different. Can this be done? ie. the Title, Text & Content slide layout
makes the 2 columns the same width, can I change the Content width?

Also, I would like to delete some of the default slide layouts for my
template so other users in the firm don't accidentally use the wrong ones.
Is this possible also?

Thanking you in advance.

No, afraid not.

No, not that either.

Unfortunately we can't create, delete or edit PowerPoint's AutoLayouts.

With custom-written addins, you can give your users a toolbar that makes it
simpler for users to do what you want them to, and that automatically does some
of the tricky stuff that they might have to format manually. It takes a fair
bit of coding to pull it off, though.
