Edge Colors: Any Way To Change ?

Hello:

Not very important, but was wondering if there's any way to change the
following.
Running XP on a new PC.

Using Excel '97, but the same situations seems to exist if I go
to the database in MW WORKS, or even a WORD document.

re Excel, the top of the data sheet, and also on the border edges where the
cell numbers and
letters appear, come up in a tan color.

Is there any way to change this ?

Thanks,
Bob

Right-click on Desktop and "Properties"

Display settings for appearance, themes, desktop etc. are found here.

In your case, look to Themes.......you probably have it set to "Wheat" or
similar.

Excel will adjust itself to what you set as your options.

Note: these would be global changes and affect all applications injcludimg
Windows OS appearance.
