Hi Ed
I am not sure and don't have my camera handy to capture and find out for
certain but I believe they are in the
'C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Microsoft' directory
Substitute "Owner" for whatever user name you set up on your system

The default place on my laptop is:

C:\Documents and Settings\PapaJohn\Local Settings\Temp\

but you can change it in Tools > Options ... to whatever folder you want...
I use C:\Temp so it's easier to go to the folder

Thanks both of you!

I will try it!

I have rerun the tape out to the dv cam deck then from there to movie
maker... This think is so sticky..... even after I have done all of my
'secret processes' to it....

I am working on a great project to save some old deteriorating 1/2 inch reel
to reel video tapes from a small town in Arizona's cable station. they
actually did originating programming there 1970's small studio style....
if you look in the Sony section on the www.smecc.org website you will see
many of the camera and stuff they were using.

Interesting.... it was not what they then termed...BROADCAST QUALITY but it
got 'er done.

again,,, thanks to all of you for the info!

and.... yes we are always looking for more of these video projects here for
the museum!

ed!
