ECS nForce4-A939 : no case speaker?

I just built a system using this motherboard, but I don't see a place
for connecting the case speaker. There is a header for connecting
case-front speaker out/mic in, but I see nothing for the plain old case
speaker. The system is working fine, but I really don't like the idea of
not being able to hear any BIOS codes if, God forbid, something goes wrong.

What am I missing?

small integrated (maybe pizo) speaker onboard ..right lower quad of the
board near the hard drive interface connectors.

Ahaa! I see it (in the online manual). I assume it is also on the board
(system is already packed). How come it doesn't beep when the system is
powered on, though? I'll have to take out the RAM and try it to make
sure that's it. Thanks.
