echo-y .wav files

I download .wav files for my work, and when I play them
back there is a constant echo in the backgroud. This
never happened before until I just got my new computer.
Any ideas?

Look for some sound program that came with your computer. Like mine has a
little sound configure utility and I can set it to make all sounds on my pc
have a echo or whatever effect I want. You should have something similar.
