I was just wondering if ECC is a type of RAM. (i.e. is ECC a type of DRAM;
as in SDRAM is a type of DRAM)
Just need info. for assignment.
If NOT - is ECC a technology which is available in non-parity RAM.

ECC refers to error correction. It is independant of the chip technology
used (EDO, SDRAM, DDR, DDR2, RDRAM). In its simplest case, it IS parity
ram.
