Ebooks CD

I have about 1500 ebooks in pdf and chm format.
There are on my hard disk.
I'd like to burn it on one cd.
In the future I intend to read it directly from my cd.
I don't know how to do it practically.
I'd like to do a menu to can select the book I want to read, or I
don't know exactly how to arrange this problem.
It exist a piece of software to can do this I'm sure but without your
help I can not localize it.

Any idea is welcome.

Perhaps the simplest idea would be to organize books into folders, and if
file associations are properly set, you're only a few clicks away from any
book.
