Easyt to use video to DVD/S-VCD app?

Looking for suggestion on easy to use (preferably free) Vista
compatible video to SVCD/or DVD creator / burner?

Would basically like to point it to a AVI or MPEG, and have it do the
rest.

Downloaded Nero Ultra, but Nero Vision hangs.

Vista on a Presario S5600 with 1.5 gigs of memory.

Not free, but ULTRA easy is WinAVI (www.winavi.com).
It is an x86 app but gets along fine with Windows XP x86 & x64 and Vista x86
& x64.
