Easy Transfer Question---need help please?

I have copied the files I wish to transfer, but I just want to know if there
is any precaution I should take like a type of back up or recovery I
should do on laptop, before I try to add the files onto it? I just don't
want to create problems for myself given the problems I have heard ppl are
having with Vista. Just want to be careful with what I want to do, until all
the bugs have bee worked out in Vista, given that this is a new Laptop and a
New OS.

If you truly want to be safe then back up your laptop so you have an image
of it should you need to revert. Easy Transfer moves your data, OS settings
and App settings so your machine should be good to go.
